BRETHREN ALIVE -- 2008Registration Speakers SchedulePURPOSEOur purpose is to gather a national convention of Anabaptist oriented evangelical Brethren to celebrate our life in Christ and encourage one another to spiritual growth and faithfulness.The main worship services will explore the theme of "Three Hundred Years and Beyond," with a focus on the three hundred year anniversary of the Church of the Brethren. We will celebrate the past, look at ways to serve in the present, and anticipate the future of the Church of the Brethren.The workshops on Saturday morning will focus on various aspects of church life.This event is planned with all ages and the entire family in mind. Activities for children and youth will be planned, along with biblical instruction on a number of different subjects and in a variety of settings. The design of the weekend is to provide a wholesome, physically invigorating, and spiritually enriching time together. Dress for the conference is casual, but we ask that principles of modesty be observed.CHILD CAREChild care (for infant through 5th grade) will be provided during all three worship services and Saturday morning and afternoon sessions. Parents will be responsible for their own children the rest of the time. Each family is asked to bring a favorite toy or game along to share with the group. If your child has any medical needs please note that on the registration form.LODGINGCollege dormitory rooms with two single beds in each room are available with bathroom facilities shared with others on the same hall. Families can have rooms beside each other. A list of motels in the Elizabethtown area can be mailed, upon request, to anyone who would rather stay in a motel.COSTThe Brethren Alive 2008 conference is sponsored and subsidized by the Brethren Revival Fellowship in order to keep your costs low. An offering will be lifted on Saturday night and Sunday morning to help defray costs.Total costs for adults staying in the campus dormitories (including registration, room, and meals) is $50.00 for the entire weekend. Children ages 5-15 are $25.00, and children under 5 are free.Commuters may attend free, but are asked to register so we can plan properly.If you want to purchase meals at the college, you will need to pay for each meal as you enter the dining hall.DISCLAIMERThe Brethren Alive 2008 conference is sponsored by the Brethren Revival Fellowship.
